Event Description
The Nickerson Gardens Resource Day is a free community event held at the Nickerson Gardens Recreational Center in Watts, one of the largest public housing communities in the western United States. Organized by @ceo_bigmotion_geegee112 in partnership with Founders Union, Los Angeles Metropolitan Church, and community partners including @losangelesmetroc and @shinethelight_communitypush, this event brings resources, health and wellness services, groceries, food, music, games for kids, activities, and the chance to connect with mentors and coaches — all at no cost to attendees. The day also features a youth football camp with Youth Dodgers Baseball on The Dreamfield, making this a full family experience rooted in uplift and opportunity for the Nickerson Gardens community.
