Event Description
El Compa Negro (@elcompanegrooficial) is bringing the Compton Rodeo back to the Compton Art & History Museum on July 18th for a full day of live performances, food, activities, and more. This is a culturally rich, high-energy community gathering built around Black cowboy culture and Compton pride. Activities include a mechanical bull, line dancing, horse riding, Spades, Dominoes, Uno, musical chairs, sack races, an exhibition, and live music. Food comes courtesy of City Grind BBQ, Infused Roots, House of Wings, and Lulu's Lemonade. The bar features Cutwater Slushy and Modelos. Performers include El Compa Negro with a live Banda, the Creators of the "You" Dance, Compton Drummers, and DJ Drummer Girl. Tickets are available at comptonrodeo.eventbrite.com.
